Pauline Curnier Jardin (b. 1980, Marseille, France) is a Berlin-Rome based artist known for her installations, performances, films, and drawings. Her work has been shown in notable solo and group exhibitions, including at Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin (2021); Art Basel (2021); Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2020); Fondation Ricard, Paris (2019); Den Frie Centre, Copenhagen (2018); Cobra Museum, Amsterdam (2018); and Tate Modern, London (2017). Curnier Jardin also presented at the 57th Venice Biennale (2017) and was featured at the Fondation Cartier (2015) and MIT List Visual Arts Center (2014). She has received multiple awards, including the 2019 Preis der Nationalgalerie and the Dutch NN Award (2018), and has held residencies at Villa Medici, Rome (2019/2020), Villa Romana, Florence (2021), and the Rijksakademie, Amsterdam (2015-2016). An experienced educator, she has taught at the Dutch Art Institute, Kunsthochschule Kassel, and currently tutors at De Ateliers, Amsterdam.
