I’m driven by an immense curiosity, a need to observe every detail and understand the essence of the present. I’m drawn to the inherent past within each object, focusing not on unraveling mysteries, but on perceiving how things have become what they are today. To truly connect with my subjects, I create mental “shields,” allowing me to tune out distractions and engage deeply with the object, person, or scene before me. I have a particular fascination for obsolete objects, free from functionality and market value, allowing me to view them purely as they are. To me, these objects hold a rich, almost romantic content, revealed through careful observation. My photography strives to mirror this personal perception, capturing an intimate connection that invites viewers to share in this experience, fostering introspection and new understandings.
